As of January 1, 2007 NREMT is requiring the written test to be completed at designated locations.  These locations are listed on the NREMT website.  REMINDER:  When you sign up for National Registry Testing with MedicWest Health Science Center you are doing the practical test.  It is your responsibility to complete the NREMT process by taking the written test within one year of doing the practical testing.

To complete the process for practical testing you need to do the following:

1.   Go onto www.nremt.org and do a search for testing sites in Nevada.  Register for the testing you want to get into.

2.   Download the registration form for MedicWest Ambulance Health Science Center.  Complete the form and mail or fax to MedicWest Ambulance with payment by following the directions on the Registration Form Page.

3.   If a representative of MedicWest Ambulance or NCTI/AMR Las Vegas have not contacted you once both of these steps are complete, please contact the MedicWest Ambulance Health Science Center to verify you are set for testing.

It is very important that the above is completed at least 3 weeks prior to the testing as this is a requirement for NREMT.

A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be retained for any cancellation prior to the testing or not showing up for the testing.

One retest station is free.  All other retests will be an additional $50 per station.
